VAN LINE SPECIALIST
CB Burnet - Edina, MN


This position is to manage Burnet Relocation's Van Line Program and develop new van line business. Managing and negotiating interstate and local contracts with the van lines and maintaining these contracts.   This position would support various department positions including Regional Director.

Job Duties:
  • Manage all interstate, intrastate, and local moving programs which includes:
    Oversee coordination of van line business
    Placement with appropriate carrier
    Reviewing estimates/invoices for compliance
    Troubleshooting issues with customers
    Managing moves under MN moves program
    Updating department on changes in the van line industry
  • Negotiate and maintain all van line program contracts which includes:
    Conducting annual reviews
    Ratings review for compliance with service standards
    Suggest enhancements for the contracts to benefit Burnet and customers
  • Market COD van line program to sales associates and creating marketing materials
  • Provide van line tracking and reporting of revenue and sources of business which includes:
    Maintain database
    Develop specialized reports
    Year-end reporting to corporate clients
    Tracking satisfaction surveys
  • Develop new programs based on the needs of corporate clients and sales associates

    Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of previous van line industry experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with clients, selling services to agents
  • Must have expertise in MS Word, Excel - experience in PowerPoint and Publisher is a plus!

NATIONAL RELOCATION COORDINATOR

Stewart Relocation, Bloomington, MN, is hiring for a temporary position offering full time hours. There is the potential for a permanent position.

Duties include:

  • Placing title orders on a national basis
  • Making status calls to the title offices
  • Reviewing title work and any pertinent backup documentation including tax sheets
  • Preparing complete title and document packages
  • Answering phone calls and emails from the title offices and customers when questions arise
  • Title curative when needed
  • Assisting with file closeouts

Requirements:

  • Experience in the title industry with an understanding of how to read a title commitment
  • Some title curative experience preferred
  • Must be a accurate typist
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Ability to multitask

The consultant will manage the relocation process and administer relocation benefits to relocating employees, acting as a single point of contact to transferees and internal clients. In addition, the consultant will maintain a high level of customer service by utilizing industry knowledge and creative problem solving to work with various internal and external clients.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Minimum of two years' third party relocation industry experience (destination/marketing, BVO/home sale, expense administration, rental assistance).
  • Bachelor's degree, real estate license, and CRP a plus.
  • Excellent customer service, administrative support and organizational skills are needed along with intermediate computer software skills.

GLOBAL CONSULTANT 

Ideal candidates for the Consultant role will be team players with exceptional customer service and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with excellent follow through and time management is a must.

Our consultants work directly with client transferees as the single point of responsibility for the delivery of a wide range of domestic relocation services on a daily basis. A thorough understanding of home marketing assistance, home sale programs through closing, home purchase assistance, household goods move coordination, and destination services is required. A minimum of two years experience as a fully outsourced domestic relocation consultant (including BVO & GPO programs) is required. CRP designation preferred. Real estate license required within six months of hire (requirement waived for candidates with more than 5 years’ experience in the consultant role). Prior real estate experience is a plus.

RELOCATION ASSOCIATE

The Relocation Associate is responsible for ensuring a positive relocation experience for the transferee by assisting the Relocation Consultant with the majority of activities connected to the relocation. Associates process transferee requests, respond to general inquiries, document activities, information and transactions in the appropriate Altair information systems, ensure all required documents are correctly executed and placed in the relocation file and handle any other tasks as directed by the Relocation Consultant and/or Operations Manager and/or Altair management.
